Strange Horizons fiction submission form
The Strange Horizons fiction department is taking a couple of weeks off while our editor-in-chief gets married.
We're temporarily closed to fiction submissions from August 22, 2010 through early September, 2010. We will reopen to submissions on or before September 12, 2010. Please do not send us stories until we reopen.
(Apologies to anyone who came here expecting us to reopen on September 5. We intended to do so, but it turns out that we're backlogged on reading, and reopening now would result in long response times. So we're going to hold off on reopening for a few more days, possibly even as long as a week.)
All submissions that we haven't yet responded to are still under consideration; we will continue to respond to previously submitted material as we make decisions about it. See our status page for more information.
Note that submissions in other departments are unaffected; this applies only to fiction.
Our regular guidelines are still available for your reference, but again, please do not send us fiction until we reopen. Our submission form is unavailable until then.
Material other than fiction should be submitted to the appropriate editor.
